Along the Chapala riverfront, we can find a variety of spaces for physical activity, which is excellent, so that the inhabitants of the area have places for their activities to develop in the best way. The Benito Juarez Coliseum is the headquarters of the municipal sports commission, its ample facilities will make you have a great time.
Chapala offers a variety of these spaces within the municipality to choose from. Depending on the sport or activity you decide to do, they can be offered. One of the less common sports is disc golf, which is located in the park called Christiania. The main sports complex of Chapala is located on the main avenue of the town, having an easy and quick access.
The sports venue in Chapala has courts for different sports, the main one and the one that stands out the most is the soccer field, as well as a semi-professional basketball court inside the dome that can be seen from the outside and from the heights.
Outside the dome, there is a multi-purpose court, which can be used to play basketball or volleyball, as well as 4 frontons, which are also used to play racquetball, and on the side a space for exercise and children’s games, all connected by the main entrance.
I really like to spend time here, since it gives you all the comfort, because of its facilities and restroom modules. My favorite activity in the coliseum is playing racquetball with my friends and the time I consider perfect is after 5:30 in the afternoon.
